step one

Specifying Backtest Timeframe

The first essential step is to set the backtest timeframe. The default starting and ending dates are 2017-01-01 and the current date respectively. To customize it, head over to the "Backtest Timeframe" section and customize the respective fields to your wants

Asset Class

The second step is to choose the type of asset you're interested in. We offer a broad range of assets such as cryptocurrencies, commodities, ETFs, funds, bonds, stocks, forex, and indices to choose from.

Stock or

The third step is to select the stock from the "Script" section. The preset stock is Facebook but can be changed by searching for the stock you want to backtest the trading strategy on

The fourth step is to select the technical indicator from the "Indicator" section. The preset indicator is SuperTrend but can be changed by searching for the indicator you want to use for building the strategy


step five

Entry Trade

The fifth step is to define or build the entry trade condition of the strategy. The input fields will automatically update themselves according to the technical indicator being chosen and can also be customized manually


step six

Exit Trade

The sixth step is similar to the previous step but here you will be specifying your trading strategy's exit trade condition.

The input fields will change according to the indicator being chosen and can be customized to different extents manually


step seven

Saving &
the Strategy

You are now done with the strategy construction and it's time to backtest it and see some results. All you have to do is just hit the "Save & Backest" button on the bottom-right corner of the page and everything else will be taken care of
